Hi, I'm Colleen and I've been teaching since 2004. I'm an army brat who has been blessed to see so much of the world. I fell in love with a sailor, and we call Texas home. My husband is now a dedicated firefighter with both feet on dry land. Our 2 wonderful boys make our family complete. We have a teenager and a toddler. Yep, that means one will graduate from high school and the other will start kindergarten. I love my boys and truly have a wonderful life!

My first year teaching was in fourth grade, and I've been teaching second grade ever since. I absolutely love second grade and love what I do. I love to see the excitement and sparkle in my students' eyes as they discover, create, and learn new things!!!
